12/31/2022 0 Comments Stabilizer krita![]() I think shift + left click (brush size) is hard coded. With stabilizer or no stabilizer it’s really hard to do anything. I also tried to do some inking in krita (2000x1600) and it lags like crazy. The stabilizer settings are not assigned on a per tool or per device (stylus tup or stylus eraser) basis. How do I change that shortcut? I really hope it’s not hard coded.Īnother annoyance - krita does not automatically switch off the stabilizer when I am using the eraser of my stylus. The resize brush shortcut is a really poor design decision, because very often instead of rotating the canvas, the user gets locked up in resizing their brush by mistake. ![]() ![]() I get some really annoying behavior in Krita- Holding shift resizes the brush. Other programs are obscure and expensive. Photoshop which I own can technically do it… but, eh… for this stuff, it’s not ideal, hard to setup, frustrating to work in. Long have I searched for a feasible program with which to do raster animations, which I highly prefer to vector. Though last I checked, we are still waiting for tools to enable the creation of high quality textures designed to be realistic as opposed to painted or stylized (and then there’s that elusive text tool that would ideally come with functionality for vector graphics). I wonder if Krita will eventually be capable of doing full-length animation. I can easily see a sudden explosion of high quality animation on places like YouTube due to the new developments here, people will finally have a truly powerful 2D animation solution without spending hundreds annually for Adobe software (sure, Blender has made strides in this area as well, but it’s main focus is kept on 3D).
